As you may know I worked in the fashion industry for over two decades and I love to work with forward thinking creative brands that are committed to sustainability. This is why I founded Circular Earth ( www.Circular-Earth.co.uk ) - a sustainable fashion consultancy.
We are working now into doing some reporting for small brands wanting to know how to share themselves in the most transparent light - this means they need to measure their impact. We do this in an over all effect in checking world or locality data and compare to the other options in each niche. We also delve as much as we can into their tier 1 and tier 2 supply base. Incubating the seeds: The Ecosystem Incubator
The Ecosystem Incubator ( www.TheEcosystemIncubator.com ) is something I’m deeply passionate about.
We are Growing the collaborators every month and its great to see new people join with us. The intimate apparel and the kidswear niche building nicely.
We had a great day the past month meeting in real life some of our UK based collaborators and started to strategise in real life (see top photo - Bold Intimates, Source Lingerie, Khadi London, Vyn footwear, Belo bags and of life and lust) Thank you for your time and energy guys.)
This Month in the Incubator, we are starting to create the collaborative 'pod' co-creations .. in the bottom up collective and in the co-retail space to start with. We work with the figures and find the collaborators needed to create.
Going into April we are prepping for out Circularity month - so watch this space for dates on Ken Alston's Circularity Master mind (free for Incubator members) and showcases of the collaborators in circular waste to wear brands and circular services / after care.
